Installation settings - Generic

The Generic section at the top of an installation’s detail page controls the basics: name, timezone, how conversion values are calculated, and which platforms (CMP and CMS) the site uses.

Where to find it
Tracking → Installations → click an installation card → Generic section at the top of the page.

Fields
Name
The name shown across the app — in the Installations list, in the workspace selector, and on the Reporting page. Use the brand or shop name for clarity, especially if you manage many installations.

Installation key and Installation secret
Read-only values used to pair the Metrion plugin with this installation. See “The Installation key and secret” for what each is and how to copy them safely.

Include shipping costs
When set to Yes, shipping costs are added to the conversion value Metrion forwards to your destinations. When set to No, conversion values reflect product subtotal only. Most accounts use Yes so destination reporting matches actual shop revenue.

Include VAT
When set to Yes, VAT is included in the conversion value. When set to No, conversion values are net of VAT. Match this to how you want your destinations to optimise — some bidding strategies prefer one or the other for ROAS comparability.

Choose timezone
All conversion dates in Metrion (Launchpad, Reporting, log timestamps) are displayed in this timezone. Set it to the shop’s local timezone.

Choose CMP
The consent management platform on your site. See “Choosing your CMP” for the full list of supported options.

Choose CMS
The shop platform. See “Choosing your CMS” for the full list of supported options.

Saving changes
Click Save to apply changes. The plugin on the shop picks up most setting changes on its next event; some changes (CMP, CMS) may require re-pairing the plugin or a small redeploy.

Advanced settings
The Advanced settings link next to Save exposes less-common configuration. Reach out to support before changing values here if you’re unsure.
