Managing domains

A domain is a website attached to an installation. Add the domains you want Metrion to track conversions for, and remove the ones that no longer apply.

Where to find domains
Tracking → Installations → click an installation → Domains section.

Adding a domain

  1. In the Domains section, click Add domain.

  2. Enter the full domain URL, including the https:// prefix (for example https://example.com).

  3. Save.

The domain appears in the list with status Online. It’s now eligible to be selected when you create a Sync.

Removing a domain

  1. Find the domain in the Domains list.

  2. Click the trash icon on the right of the row.

  3. Confirm the removal.

Removing a domain stops new conversions from being attributed to it. Existing conversions in Reporting are not deleted.

Multiple domains in one installation
An installation can hold many domains. This is useful when one brand operates several country-specific sites — for example example.com, example.nl, and example.de — that should all flow into the same set of destinations.

Domain status
Each domain shows a status indicator. Once a domain is added, it stays Online; you can ignore the indicator unless support asks you to check it specifically.
