Sync settings

Sync settings control how Metrion forwards conversions to the destination. You’ll find them under the Settings tab on each Sync’s detail page.

Where to find them
Tracking → Syncs → click a Sync row → Settings tab → Generic section.

The three toggles

Enhanced conversions
When enabled, the Sync includes extra user data (hashed name, email, phone, address) alongside each conversion. The destination platform uses this data to match conversions to user profiles more accurately, which improves Smart Bidding signal and reporting completeness. Recommended for almost every Sync.

Dynamic remarketing
When enabled, the Sync sends additional product-level data (item IDs, categories) on each conversion event. This lets the destination build remarketing audiences based on what the user viewed or bought. Enable when the destination supports dynamic remarketing and you want to feed it audience data.

Update conversions when orders are cancelled
When enabled, refunded or cancelled orders are mirrored back to the destination so reported conversions stay aligned with reality. Without this, a customer who buys and then cancels still appears as a converted customer in your ad platform. Enable for accurate ROAS measurement, especially in categories with high return rates.

Saving
Click Save at the bottom of the Generic section to apply changes. Settings take effect on the next scheduled run.
