Creating a Sync

Create a Sync to start sending conversions from your domain(s) to an advertising destination on a recurring schedule.

Before you start
You’ll need:

  • An installation with at least one domain attached

  • At least one destination connected to that installation

  • The Metrion plugin installed and paired on the shop, so events are flowing

Steps

  1. Open Tracking → Syncs in the left sidebar.

  2. If your account has more than one installation, pick the right one from the workspace selector at the top right.

  3. Click Add sync in the top right.

  4. Select one or more Domains from the dropdown — for example, if you run example.com and example.nl, select both.

  5. Pick a Destination from the dropdown. Only destinations already connected to this installation appear.

  6. Decide whether to enable Enhanced conversions. We recommend leaving this on so destinations get richer data.

  7. Optionally open Advanced settings to enable Dynamic remarketing and Update conversions when orders are cancelled.

  8. Click Add Sync.

What happens next
The new Sync appears in the Syncs list with status New. It picks up its first batch on the next scheduled run (every two hours). You can also visit the Sync’s detail page to manage conversion goals — those are configured per Sync after creation.

Tips

  • Group related domains together. If two domains feed the same Google Ads account, put them in one Sync rather than creating two.

  • One destination per Sync. A Sync points to a single destination. To send the same domains to multiple platforms, create one Sync per platform.

  • Keep Enhanced conversions on. Enhanced data dramatically improves match rates and Smart Bidding signal.
